At CUE, we connect educators with cutting-edge tools and strategies to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world. Our AI Leadership Academy is designed not only to teach you how to leverage AI but also to position you as a leader in your school’s AI integration. This learning pathway uses our 8-Step AI Leadership Plan, equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to navigate emerging AI issues in IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø.

Leadership-Driven: We support you in developing a personal AI strategy that aligns with your school’s goals and prepare you to lead professional development for your peers.

Collaborative Community: With ongoing support, facilitated sessions, and a dedicated Slack channel, you’ll learn and grow alongside other educators committed to AI leadership.

Tier 1: AI Creator

Units Earned: 2 Time Commitment: 3.5 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Create with Confidence: This tier positions you ahead of most educators. By mastering foundational AI skills, you’ll become a creator who shapes innovative classroom experiences through AI.

Outcome: Learn to integrate AI into your teaching, using it to extend creative capabilities and make an immediate impact on student engagement.

Tier 2: AI Innovator

Units Earned: 4 Time Commitment: 6.25 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Innovate for Impact: Move beyond creation to innovation. In this tier, you’ll apply AI in transformative ways that redefine your classroom and empower your students.

Outcome: Lead innovation in your school by integrating AI to streamline tasks, personalize learning, and create groundbreaking IKUN×ÊÔ´Íøal experiences.

Tier 3: AI Visionary

Units Earned: 8 Time Commitment: 12.5 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Visionary Leadership: This final tier prepares you to lead AI-driven transformation at scale. As a visionary, you’ll design and implement strategies to shape the future of IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø in your school or district.

Outcome: Become a forward-thinking AI leader, crafting a long-term AI strategy that places you at the forefront of IKUN×ÊÔ´Íøal innovation.

Number of Units: 2.0 - 8.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø for CUE Participants. To enroll in this course please ensure you have registered with CUE:

Directions to Enrolled Participants for University Credit: Submit your Certificate of Completion by email to [email protected] after enrolling for credit and completing the course.

IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø – Graduate-Level Extension Credit Information

The IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø partners with this program to offer graduate-level extension credit(s) in semester hours through the Credit Validation Program. To earn units, participants must register for and successfully complete coursework through the external program provider.

Credits earned through USD’s Credit Validation Program are widely accepted by many school districts and universities across the United States for purposes such as license renewal, required professional development hours, short-term skill building, salary advancement, credentialing, and potential advanced degree pathways.

These units do not apply toward a master’s or higher degree program at the IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø; however, they may be transferable to advanced degree programs (e.g., MA, EdD, PhD) at other institutions that accept external graduate-level credits.

Participants are responsible for confirming acceptance, transcript requirements, deadlines, and applicability of units with their employing district or intended institution prior to enrollment.

  • Design and Implement Personalized AI Solutions: Participants will design and implement AI-powered learning modules tailored to diverse student needs, integrating principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and personalization
  • Leverage Advanced AI Tools for Teaching and Administration: Participants will apply advanced AI tools for both IKUN×ÊÔ´Íøal and administrative purposes, enhancing classroom engagement and workflow efficiency, including automating repetitive tasks and utilizing AI for creative projects
  • Launch Student-Centered AI Initiatives: Participants will create and launch student panels and engage students actively in the AI integration process, ensuring that student voices contribute to decision-making and project development
  • Build and Showcase an AI Use Case Portfolio: Participants will construct a portfolio of AI use cases, demonstrating practical applications in IKUN×ÊÔ´Íøal contexts, and present these use cases to peers for feedback, further development, and broader implementation
  • Develop a Comprehensive AI Integration Plan: Participants will conduct a needs assessment and create a strategic AI integration plan for their school or district, including defining goals, metrics, and professional development programs aligned with IKUN×ÊÔ´Íøal objectives
