This course is designed to equip educators with essential skills for integrating technology into the classroom through collaborative efforts and effective use of Google for Education tools, with a focus on utilizing relevant technology tools available on student Chromebooks. Throughout the semester, participants will engage in weekly activities that include a one-hour discussion and study session, one hour of independent reading, and one hour of collaborative or co-teaching practice. The primary focus will be on developing strategies for technology-enhanced collaboration, emphasizing teamwork and digital integration through Google tools and Chromebook-compatible technologies. Participants will work toward earning their Google Educator Level 1 Certification, gaining the knowledge and skills to effectively implement Google tools in IKUN×ÊÔ´Íø. For those opting for a third credit, a research reflection paper will be required, exploring best practices in technology collaboration, the role of Chromebooks, and the impact of digital tools on teaching and learning.
